  • Page 3 Welcome! Welcome to the Acoustic Research Universal WiFi Remote! The AR Universal WiFi Remote is simple to set up. It automatically locates your home’s wireless network. Everything you need beams right to the LCD screen of the Universal WiFi Remote. All you need to know is the brand of the devices in your home entertainment center, and you’re all set.

  • Page 5 Step 2 Step 2: Charging the WiFi Remote The first step to getting your WiFi Remote set-up involves the cradle that comes with your remote control. The WiFi Remote uses its cradle to recharge. Before you start using the WiFi Remote, you need to plug in the cradle and let the remote charge in it for 3 to 4 hours.

  • Page 7 Step 3 3a. After 3–4 hours of charging, remove the remote from the cradle. The first time you pick up the WiFi Remote from its cradle, the remote will automatically search for available networks. This may take a few minutes. 3b.
