TiVo Central

Almost everything you do with the TiVo service starts from TiVo Central. You can
schedule recordings, watch live TV or recorded programs, play DVDs or CDs, and more.
To get to TiVo Central, press the TiVo button on your remote control.
Occasionally, you will notice special icons beside some options in TiVo Central.
This icon appears if you have Messages to read. See page 66 for more about
Messages.

Choose the selection next to this icon to watch a special preview or visit a
Showcase. See page 36 for more about Showcases.
This icon appears next to selections that contains special video content. Highlight
the selection and press PLAY on your remote to play the video.
This icon indicates news or special offers from TiVo.

Enjoy TiVo Basic™ Service
No activation or subscription is necessary to enjoy the features of TiVo Basic service:
• Control live TV. Pause, rewind, slow-mo, and instant replay any channel, anytime!
• Record from the program guide. An interactive program guide includes detailed
program descriptions, ratings, and more, and lets you schedule recordings on the spot.
• Store hours of your favorite programs. All of your recorded shows appear in the
Now Playing list. Just highlight what you want to watch and press PLAY.
