Before use

Check that the machine and the cable are in perfect working order and safe to use.
Allow the machine to run at idling speed for approx. 5 minutes before starting work to get the carbon brushes working properly.
Instructions for use
Comply with all the safety instructions.
Ensure that you do not cover the ventilation slits with your hand.
IMPORTANT
When you switch on the tool for the first time, do not point it at your face. If the tools are not clamped correctly they may come loose or rupture at high
speed. Risk of injury!
For best results used the machine at the correct speed and with the correct accessories.
Carry out tests on a specimen workpiece to ensure that you are working at the correct speed.
Do not exert any pressure on the tool, and instead guide the machine several times over the surface you wish to machine.
Assembly
Fit the tool, drill and rotary grinder
Important: Pull the plug before carrying out any work.
1. Press the shaft lock (7) firmly and turn the chuck nut (5) until the shaft lock engages (B2).
Never press the shaft lock when the tool is operating.
2. Undo the chuck nut (5) with the chuck wrench (10).
3. Select a tool from the set (15).
5. Insert the tool as far as possible into the chuck (6). Tighten the chuck nut (5) by hand.
4. Press the shaft lock (7) again.
5. Tighten the chuck nut (5) using the chuck wrench (17) (B3).
6 Place the union nut (4) over the tool and secure it on the drill and rotary grinder.

1. After removing the union nut (4) unscrew the chuck nut (5).
2. Pull the chuck (6) out forwards and insert a new one (B5).
3. Tighten the chuck nut (5) again using the chuck wrench (10).
4. Tighten the union nut (4) again.
Working with the drill and rotary grinder
The machine operates at high speed.
First find the perfect speed for the job using a sample workpiece.
Switch on/off (B6)
To switch on the machine set the On/Off switch (2) on the underside of the machine to I.
To switch off the machine set the On/Off switch (2) on the underside of the machine to 0.
IMPORTANT
Only touch the workpiece with the moving tool.
Do not exert any pressure on the tool, and instead guide the machine several times over the surface you wish to machine.
Recommended speed
The speeds can be selected using the setting wheel (3) on the top of the machine.
Low speed:
- For machining plastics and other materials with a low melting point.
- For polishing with felt polishing accessories.
- For all applications involving brushes.
High speed:
- For machining hardwood, metal and glass.
- For cutting wood, iron or steel.
Assembly of polishing, grinding and cutting discs
1. Turn the grub screw into the felt polishing discs.
2. Secure the grinding and polishing discs on the holder using a washer and screw.
3. To change the slip rings, undo the Philips screw on the front section of the tool head. Pull off the used slip ring and replace it with a new one.
Tighten the Philips screw again. The slip ring is now locked in position.
