Installing EMI Suppression
Ferrites for the NI PCI-6154
To ensure the specified EMC performance of the NI PCI-6154, you must install two snap-on
ferrite cores, included with your device, onto each end of the I/O cable you use to connect to the
NI PCI-6154 device.
The snap-on ferrite cores must be installed on the I/O cable as close to each end connector as
possible and securely locked, as shown in the following figure.
You can order additional EMI suppression ferrites from NI (part number 711627-01).
