GROUNDED PLUG To reduce the risk of electric shock this appliance has a grounded plug (2 blades and 1 pin). If the plug does not fit fully into the electrical outlet contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way or use an adaptor. BEFORE FIRST USE 1.

5. Depress the On/Off Switch to the ‘On’ position. The Indicator Light will illuminate to indicate that the Kettle is in the boil cycle. Once the water has boiled, the On/Off Switch will automatically switch to the ‘Off’ position and the Indicator Light will go out.

CARE AND CLEANING 1. Unplug power cord from wall outlet. Empty out remaining water and allow Kettle to cool before cleaning. 2. If necessary, remove and clean the Aquascreen ® Filter by rinsing under running water. The Filter can be removed by grasping the top of the Filter firmly between thumb and forefinger and gently pull away from spout.
