- Page 3 GROUNDED PLUG To reduce the risk of electric shock this appliance has a grounded plug (2 blades and 1 pin). If the plug does not fit fully into the electrical outlet contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way or use an adaptor. BEFORE FIRST USE 1.
- Page 4 5. Depress the On/Off Switch to the ‘On’ position. The Indicator Light will illuminate to indicate that the Kettle is in the boil cycle. Once the water has boiled, the On/Off Switch will automatically switch to the ‘Off’ position and the Indicator Light will go out.
- Page 5 CARE AND CLEANING 1. Unplug power cord from wall outlet. Empty out remaining water and allow Kettle to cool before cleaning. 2. If necessary, remove and clean the Aquascreen ® Filter by rinsing under running water. The Filter can be removed by grasping the top of the Filter firmly between thumb and forefinger and gently pull away from spout.
