- Page 3 GROUNDED PLUG To reduce the risk of electric shock this appliance has a grounded plug (2 blades and 1 pin). If the plug does not fit fully into the electrical outlet contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way or use an adaptor.
- Page 4 4. Press the PROGRAM button (which will illuminate in blue) to select one of the 6 pre-programmed temperatures. Each touch of the button will show one of the 6 pre-programmed settings which are 40ºC, 60ºC, 80ºC, 90ºC, 100ºC and Keep Warm function which is preset at 70ºC. This setting can be changed.
- Page 5 10. If the kettle is accidently switched on when empty, the thermostat will automatically shut off the kettle to prevent it from overheating. Unplug the power base and let the kettle cool before refilling. NOTE: The display screen works independently from the kettle. Once the thermostat is shut off, the display screen on the power base will continue to function until the selected temperature is reached.
