Using the device

The rated motor current must be set on PKZM0/XTPR...BC1
by means of the current dial a (a table 1, page 29) prior
to initial commissioning of the motor-protective circuit-
breaker.

Test

The motor-protective circuit-breaker is equipped with a
testing feature b (a figure 1, page 28). The active
PKZM0/XTPR...BC1 motor-protective circuit-breaker is
tripped by actuating the test release with the help of a
screwdriver. This opens all main contacts and thus removes
the output lines from the voltage source.
Danger!
Faulty devices must not be opened and repaired. They
must be replaced by specialist personnel.
Warning!
If the motor-protective circuit-breaker is installed at a cool
location (e.g. -5 °C) und the motor is installed at a warm
motor location (e.g. 40 °C), it is possible that there will be
a delayed release during an overload if the devices are
operated in the lower current setting range.
