The following tables describe the use of RF connectors and the system LEDs on top of the
FEX-201E and 211E casing.
RF Connector
Description
MAIN
Main LTE antenna.
AUX
Auxiliary (Diversity) LTE antenna.
GPS
GPS/GNSS antenna.
LED
Description
LTE Modem 1
Green Steady: Connected to carrier and working properly.
Green Flashing: Booting up and connecting to carrier.
Green Rapidly Flashing: SIM or firmware error.
OFF: No LTE Modem 1.
LTE signal level 1
Green: LTE signal strength <25% (LED 1 on).
LTE signal level 2
Green: LTE signal strength 25%–50% (LED 1 & 2 on).
LTE signal level 3
Green: LTE signal strength 50%–75% (LED 1, 2, & 3 on).
LTE signal level 4
Green: LTE signal strength >75% (LED 1 , 2, 3, & 4 all on).
Power
Green Steady: Booted up and working properly.
Green Flashing: Booting up.
Amber Steady: System error.
OFF: No power.
Management
Blue Steady: Managed by FortiGate or FortiExtender Cloud.
Blue Flashing: Connecting to a managing device.
OFF: No management connection.
FortiSASE/LAN
Blue Steady: The system is connected to FortiSASE/LAN
Extension
Extension.
Blue Flashing (at one-second intervals): The system is
connecting to FortiSASE/LAN Extension.
Blue Flashing Rapidly: The system is experiencing an error in
connecting to FortiSASE/LAN Extension.
OFF: The system is not configured for FortiSASE/LAN Extension.
