[ 4 ( HOME )] key
Pressing this key recalls a favorite "Home" fre-
quency memory.
This key generates the DTMF "4" tone during trans-
mission, and frequency entry digit "4" during Di-
rect Keypad Frequency Entry.
[ 5 ( tMODE )] ] key
Pressing this key changes the operating mode:
USB ð LSB ð PKT ð DIG ð FM ð AM ð CWR ð
CW ð USB .....
This key generates the DTMF "5" tone during transmission,
and frequency entry digit "5" during Direct Keypad Frequency
Entry.
[ 6 ( MODEu )] key
Pressing this key changes the operating mode:
USB ð CW ð CWR ð AM ð FM ð DIG ð PKT ð LSB ð USB .....
This key generates the DTMF "6" tone during transmission, and frequency entry
digit "6" during Direct Keypad Frequency Entry.
[ 7 ( V/M )] key
Pressing this key switches frequency control between the VFO and Memory Sys-
tems.
This key generates the DTMF "7" tone during transmission, and frequency entry
digit "7" during Direct Keypad Frequency Entry.
[ 8 ( DWN BAND )] key
Pressing this key causes the frequency to be moved down by one frequency band:
1.8 MHz ð 430 MHz ð 144 MHz ð 108 MHz ð 88 MHz ð 50 MHz ð
28 MHz ð 24 MHz ð 21 MHz ð 18 MHz ð 15 MHz ð 14 MHz ð 10 MHz ð
7 MHz ð 5 MHz ð 3.5 MHz ð 1.8 MHz .....
This key generates the DTMF "8" tone during transmission, and frequency entry
digit "8" during Direct Keypad Frequency Entry.
[ 9 ( BAND UP )] key
Pressing this key causes the frequency to be moved up by one frequency band:
