PROBE HANDLE
To calibrate an oxygen probe, use the following procedure
while referring to Figures 1 and 4.

4-5 — Probe head protective cover
1. Plug the probe plug into the DO probe socket
(callout 1-14 of Fig. 1) on the top of the meter.
2. Power on the instrument by pressing the POWER button
on the front panel.
3. Press the L button (which has the word "MODE" stenciled above it) until the display
shows the term "do".
4. Press the M button (which has the word "Function" stenciled above it) to switch the
unit shown on the display from "mg/L" to "%O2".
5. Wait at least five minutes until the display readings stabilize.
6. Use two fingers to press the "REC/ENTER" and HOLD/ESC buttons at the same time.
7. Release your fingers once this screen
appears (indicating that air typically has
an oxygen content of 20.9%.
8. Press the REC/ENTER button. The display will then count down from 30 seconds to 0.
9. When the countdown is complete, press the M button once to return to the normal
display of "mg/L".
