1. Getting started

Plug.the.two.light.bulbs.into.the.luminaire.
Place.the.connection.plug.into.a.wall.socket...
The.Philips.LivingColors.coloured.and.white.light.table.lamp.will.turn.
on,.shining.orange.light.up.and.white.light.around..
Open.the.battery.compartment.of.the.remote.control.by.sliding.the.
button.at.the.back..Insert.the.3.AAA.batteries.(+.and.–.as.indicated).
included.in.the.package.

2. Selecting and adjusting individual lights
You.can.adjust.both.lights.of.the.lamp.at.the.same.time,.or.control.
the.white.light.and.the.coloured.light.of.your.lamp.separately..In.
order.to.control.a.light,.you.need.to.select.it..You.can.do.it.using.the.
light.selection.buttons..When.selected,.the.light.will.flash.and.the.light.
selection.indicator.on.the.remote.control.(light.bulb).will.light.up..This.
means.you.can.now.adjust.the.selected.light.individually..
When.no.light.is.selected.(light.selection.indicator.is.off),.all.your.
adjustments.will.apply.to.all.lights.connected.to.the.remote.control.(for.
example,.you.can.dim.both.white.and.coloured.lights.together).
You.can.change.the.order.in.which.lights.are.controlled.(for.example,.
you.can.decide.to.always.have.white.light.first.and.coloured.light.

finger.over.the.colour.wheel.to.refine.the.colour.
Changing.the.colour.saturation.(adding.more.white.to.the.current.
colour)..Press.on.the.saturation.up.button.for.a.deep.colour.or.the.
saturation.down.button.for.a.more.pastel.colour..If.you.keep.pressing.
the.saturation.down.button,.you.will.ultimately.reach.the.white.colour..
Starting.the.automatic.colour-changing.mode..Sweep.your.finger.around.
the.colour.wheel.(one.full.circle).and.briefly.press.on."I".("On");.you.
will.hear.a.beep,.and.LivingColors.will.switch.to.the.automatic.colour-
changing.mode:.the.lamp.will.start.changing.colours.automatically..
You.can.adjust.the.speed.with.which.colours.change..Speed.can.be.
adjusted.clockwise,.from.fast.(dark.blue.colour.on.the.colour.wheel).to.
slow.(purple)..You.can.tap.anywhere.on.the.colour.wheel..While.in.the.
automatic.colour.changing.mode,.you.can.also.adjust.the.saturation.and.
brightness.of.the.colours..
To.switch.back.to.static.colour.mode,.sweep.around.the.colour.wheel.
again.(one.full.circle),.then.press."0"..
Dimming..Increase.or.decrease.the.light.intensity.of.coloured.light.via.
the.dimming.buttons..

table.lamp.will.turn.to.your.last.settings..You.can.also.switch.the.lights.

4. Creating lighting scenes
If.you.like.a.particular.combination.of.coloured.and.white.light.(for.
example,.coloured.light.on.red.colour.and.white.light.dimmed.down),.
you.can.store.this.scene.for.easy.recall:.press.and.hold.one.of.the.Scene.
buttons.until.the.remote.control.makes.a.beeping.sound..Your.scene.is.
now.stored.under.the.Scene.button.you.have.pressed..You.can.also.store.
a.particular.automatic.colour-changing.mode.in.this.way..
You.can.continue.adjusting.the.lights.as.you.wish..Whenever.you.want.to.
go.back.to.your.stored.scene,.just.press.the.Scene.button.you.pressed.
when.storing.it..That.Scene.button.will.light.up.briefly.to.show.that.the.
scene.is.selected,.and.the.lights.will.go.to.your.stored.settings.

You.can.connect.other.luminaires.to.your.Philips.LivingColors.coloured.
and.white.light.remote.to.create.immersive.lighting.scenes..There.are.
numerous.possibilities:
You.can.connect.multiple.Philips.LivingColors.lamps.to.one.remote.
control..Most.Philips.LivingColors.will.work.with.this.remote:.just.check.
if.there.is.a."Gen2".sign.on.the.remote.or.a.SmartLink.sign.inside.the.
remote.control.of.the.LivingColors.you.would.like.to.link..All.products.
