Getting started
Using the Main power switch
When you turn off the main power switch, you can reduce the
power consumption to zero. However when the main power
switch is turned off, you cannot turn the TV on. To turn on the
TV, make sure the main power switched on.
Concerning blinking power lamp and a beep
This TV is equipped with "Operate TV by clapping your hands (Hand Clap
Function)" (P. 17). If you clap your hands facing towards the TV, the TV
will detect a clap sound and the power lamp will blink. If the TV detects
a command by clapping your hand, you will hear a beep and the TV will
operate according to that command. If a clap-like sound was accidently
produced, the TV may operate the same way. This is not a malfunction. For
more details. See "Things you should know" (P. 18)
