There may be no lights on the Sargent EC176 Series due to the following reasons:

1. Backlight/Illumination Off – Press the power or select button to reactivate the backlight.
2. No Power Supply – Check that the PSU shutdown switch is on and that the mains supply is connected.
3. Battery or Fuse Issue – Check the battery and fuses to ensure they are functioning.
4. Control Panel Connection – Verify that the control panel connecting lead is properly connected at both the PSU and behind the control panel.
5. Software Crash – Reboot the control panel by turning off the PSU isolate switch, waiting 30 seconds, and turning it back on.

If the issue persists, contact your dealer for further assistance.

The Sargent EC176 Series vehicle battery may not be charging after selecting the vehicle battery on the control panel because the mains supply is not connected or the charger is not turned on. The system automatically selects the battery for charging when the mains supply is connected and the charger is active. Ensure the charger switch is turned on and the mains supply is properly connected.

Yes, the Sargent EC176 Series unit can be switched to charge the vehicle battery. The control panel allows the user to select the vehicle battery instead of the leisure battery by pressing the select button. If the mains supply is connected and the charger is turned on, the selected battery will be charged.
