Health o meter Professional Scales recommends that assembly be performed by two
people.
Warning: Do not drop scale, as this can permanently damage the load cells.
1. Remove the scale platform from the
carton and place the platform upside
down on a flat, level, and dry surface.
Screw the (4) feet into the underside of
the platform. Completely hand tighten
the feet, then turn them back 1-½ full
turns. This allows for proper load cell
operation.
2. Carefully flip the scale over to its upright
position on the floor.
Warning: Do not drop the scale, as
this can permanently damage the
load cells.
Adjust the feet to level the scale. Be
certain that the feet are not completely
tightened into the platform for proper
load cell operation. Open the scale to its
operational position by unfolding the
wheelchair ramps.
3. Connect the load cell cable to the scale
platform by inserting the load cell cable
into the load cell port.
4. If mounting the display head onto a wall
see the Display Head Wall Mounting
Instructions on the next page. If using as
a remote display head, plug the load cell
cable into the load cell port on the rear of
the display head. Carefully position the
display head on a desk, table or other
flat surface. See Powering the Scale,
page 10, for battery and AC adapter
instructions. The scale is now ready to
use.

Ensure that the
spacer spring is on
the bolt of the foot
before inserting into
the platform.
