PBC

You can set the PBC to {On} or {Off}.
This feature is available only on SVCD or
Video CD .0 with playback control
(PBC) feature. For details, see page .
MP3/JPEG Menu
MP/JPEG Navigator can be set only if
the disc is recorded with menu. It allows
you to select different display menu for
easy navigation.
In 'Preference Page', press   to select
A
{ MP3/JPEG Nav }, then press .
{ Without Menu }
Select this to display all the files
contained in the MP/Picture CD.
{ With Menu }
Select this to display only the folder
menu of the MP/Picture CD.
Use   to select a setting and press
B
OK to confirm.

Changing the Password

You need to enter your six-digit
password to play a prohibited disc or if
prompted for a password. The same
default password is used for both
Parental and Disc Lock.
In 'Preference Page', press   to select
A
{ Password }, then press  to select
{ Change }.
Press OK and the menu appears on the
B
TV screen.

TIPS: The underlined option is the factory default setting.
Press  to go back to previous menu item. Press SETUP to exit the menu item.

When doing this for the first time,

enter the default password '16900'.

If you forget your old six-digit password,
enter the default password '16900'.
Enter the new six-digit password.

Enter the new six-digit password a

second time to confirm.
The new six-digit password will now

take effect.
Press OK to confirm.

Restoring to original settings
Setting the { Default } function will reset
all options and your personal settings to
the factory defaults, except for Parental
and Disc Lock.
In 'Preference Page', press   to select
A
{ Default }, then press  to select
{ Reset }.
Press OK to confirm.
B
All settings will now reset to factory

defaults.
