Introduction Intended Use Dry heat incubation of inoculated media in the microbiolo- gy laboratory. Function To provide a controlled temperature, dry heat environment from 30°C to 65°C. Principles of Operation A bimetallic thermostat energizes a resistant heating ele- ment which is in contact with the thermally conductive chamber.
Operation Insert the thermometer to the 76mm immersion line through the grommet located at the top center of the incubator. Maintenance and Servicing Replacing Door Hinge Assembly Warning Remove set screws from stop couplings. Disconnect from the power supply prior to maintenance and servicing. Slide rod to right or left and remove. Refer servicing to qualified personnel. Nylon washers must be placed between door and case when re-installing.
AINTENANCE AND ERVICING Replacing Inner Chamber, Element, Pilot Light and Element Insulation Remove control knob. Remove two screws at the rear near the sides of the case. Pull inner chamber assembly out from the front. Observe extension wire location. Remove four extension wires from inner chamber assembly.
