Assembly Tools Required
Drill with # Phillips bit and Phillips screwdriver
Rubber mallet or hammer
Tape measure
Clamp (optional)
Snips or shears (for Self-Watering System Assembly only)
Assembly is easiest with two people.
If you are retrofitting an existing ' x ' Elevated Planter Box, empty
it out, remove the existing floor and fabric liner, and skip to
Part II, Self-Watering System Assembly.
I. Planter Box Assembly
. Align the short edges of two " or four " BOARDS
(rough faces up) and hold or clamp the boards together.
. Slide a CORNER over the short edges on one end, positioning
it as shown in Fig. . The top BOARD should come to sit ⅛ "
above the top of the CORNER.
. Make sure there are no gaps between BOARDS and that they
are fully seated into the CORNER. Secure with PHILLIPS SCREWS.
Leave the hole from the bottom open for now.

. Repeat the process to attach another CORNER to the other end.
. Align the holes at both ends of the PLATFORM SUPPORT with
the open holes in the CORNERS (these are the holes you skipped
in Step ; see Figs. & ). Insert a PHILLIPS SCREW into both sets
of holes.
. Again using Fig. and the assembled ' END PANEL as
references, slide FLAT STOCK sections under the PLATFORM
SUPPORT. Align the

STOCK with the holes in the PLATFORM SUPPORT and make sure
the FLAT STOCK is straight. Secure the FLAT STOCK into place
with PHILLIPS SCREWS at all points.
. Repeat Steps – to assemble the opposite side panel.
