Die SCHUKO-Steckdose mit integriertem Fehlerstromschutz
5TC1 01.
5TC1 01. ist ein Unterputzgerät, welches aus einem UP-Geräte-
einsatz und einer designspezifischen Abdeckplatte besteht. Sie
ist zum Einbau in handelsübliche UP-Gerätedosen (Ø 60 mm,
für Schraubenbefestigung) geeignet.
Das Funktionsprinzip der SCHUKO-Steckdose mit integriertem
Fehlerstromschutz entspricht dem des Fehlerstrom-Schutz-
schalters (FI-Schutzschalter). Es bezieht sich auf alle Geräte
und Leitungen, welche an die SCHUKO-Steckdose mit integrier-
tem Fehlerstromschutz angeschlossen sind. Die Elektroinstalla-
tion bis zur Steckdose
An die FI-geschützten Verbindungsleiter können weitere,
normale SCHUKO-Steckdosen angeschlossen werden, welche
dann auch dem Fehlerstromschutz unterliegen.
Bedienung
Funktionsprüfung:
Nach der Montage muss die Funktion der FI-SCHUKO-
Steckdose überprüft werden (Bild A-1). Bei anliegender Span-
nung und eingeschaltetem Schalter (I) muss die Testtaste (T)
gedrückt werden. Der Schalter muss auslösen (Stellung 0).
Nach erfolgreichem Test ist der Schalter wieder in Stellung (I)
zu schieben. Prüfen Sie zusätzlich mit einem geeigneten
Prüfgerät, ob die Steckdose wirklich spannungsfrei geschaltet
ist. Der Test ist während des Betriebs halbjährlich zu wiederho-
len.
Es dürfen keine FI-SCHUKO-Steckdosen in Betrieb genommen
werden, welche die Funktionsprüfung nicht bestanden haben.

Product and Applications Description
Please ensure that you have thoroughly read and under-
stood the operating and mounting instructions prior to
commissioning.
The SCHUKO socket outlet and integrated 5TC1 01. RCCB is a
flush-mounting device comprising a flush-mounting device insert
and a design-specific cover plate. It is suitable for installation in
conventional flush-mounting device boxes (Ø 60 mm, for screw
fixing).
The principle of operation of SCHUKO socket outlets with
integrated residual current protection corresponds to that of
residual current operated circuit breakers (RCCBs). It applies to
all devices and lines connected to the SCHUKO socket outlet
with integrated RCCB. However, the electrical installation up to
the socket outlet is not RCCB protected.
Any additional normal SCHUKO socket outlets connected to the
interconnecting conductor will also be RCCB protected.
Operation
Function testing:
Once installed, it is essential to test the RCCB protected
SCHUKO socket outlet to ensure that it is fully functional (Fig. A-1).
The test pushbutton (T) must be pressed with the voltage applied
and the switch (I) activated. The switch must trip (position 0).
Once the test has been carried out successfully, the switch must
be returned to position (I). A suitable inspection and test device
should also be used to check that the socket outlet really is off
circuit. This test must be repeated during operation at 6 month
intervals.
Never use RCCB protected SCHUKO socket outlets that have
not passed this function test.
Operation:
On/Off switching: If the RCCB protected SCHUKO
socket outlet trips during runtime
when electrical devices are con-
nected, these devices are defective
and must be inspected by a fully
qualified electrical technician.
Position indication: Sliding switch-on handle 0-I
Test pushbutton T: Press the test pushbutton T every
6 months. The
SCHUKO socket outlet must trip.
