Cleaning & maintenance

Your fountain should be cleaned regularly. The cleaning frequency depends on the number of animals that use the fountain. The

more animals use the fountain, the more often the fountain requires cleaning.

Filter: for best results, the charcoal filter should be replaced every month. You can purchase a set of 6 filters from your retailer at

any time or on NUM'AXES website at www.numaxes.com.

Fountain: clean your fountain ideally every 2 weeks using warm soapy water.

Pump: cleaning the pump is essential to the longevity of your fountain. The pump should be cleaned at least once a week following

the instructions below:

Gently lift the pump out of the fountain base.

Remove the grill.

Clean all parts with warm soapy water. Use a cotton bud or a toothbrush to remove any dirt. For a more in-depth cleaning,

use white vinegar to clean the pump.

Rinse all components thoroughly.

Once they are clean and dry, re-assemble the pump components.
