1.6 NAMES AND FUNCTIONS

1 Power switch

Turns power on and off.

2 Sync Rec LED

The StartREC 400 can begin recording automatically (Auto Mark mode) upon receiving a signal at any
digital input. It will also place an index marker at the beginning of the audio. The Sync Rec LED indicates
that Auto Mark is active. If the LED is off, recording and marker placement is initiated manually.

3 Rec LED

This lights while the StartREC 400 is recording, and flashes in record pause mode.
