GVCI-MX
4.1

Intended use

If the GVCI-MX and the scope of delivery are oper-
ated contrary to the way specified by the manufac-
turer in the operating instructions, the protection
provided by the GVCI-MX and the supplied accesso-
ries may be compromised.
The GVCI-MX is a measuring instrument used by profes-
sional technicians as an aid in diagnosing and repairing
automotive electrical and electronic systems. Addition-
ally, the software application with GVCI-MX can be used
to measure voltage levels, for example.
4.2

User group

The product may be used by skilled and instructed per-
sonnel only. Personnel scheduled to be trained, famil-
iarized, instructed or to take part in a general training
course may only work with the product under the super-
vision of an experienced person.

Range of application

The GVCI-MX is intended for indoor use only.

Do not expose GVCI-MX to rain or moisture and pre-
vent the formation of condensation.
4.3

GVCI-MX kit contents

The GVCI-MX Base Kit includes cables and hardware
needed to transfer data and reprogram ECUs on vehicles
through the DLC cable.
