    • Always check the waterproof case seal is clean and free of debris before use in water. • Do not attempt to open the ZXM-AC1 camera or modify it. If the ZXM-AC1 has been tampered with the warranty will be void. Maintenance and repairs should only be performed by Zero-X customer service representatives.
  • Page 8: Charging The Battery

    • Do not attempt to expose the internal battery cell. • Only use a certified 5V 1A USB charger to charge the ZXM-AC1. Using non- certified chargers could potentially damage the ZXM-AC1, or the ZXM-AC1 battery and void the warranty.
  • Page 9: Micro Sd Card Compatibility

    The LED light on the back of the ZXM-AC1 indicates the status of the unit’s charging cycle. It will stay RED while charging. When the ZXM-AC1 is fully charged the LED light will turn OFF. MICRO SD CARD COMPATIBILITY The ZXM-AC1 requires a Micro SD Card (not included) to save recorded files.
  • Page 10 1. Once the ZXM-AC1 is fully charged insert your Micro SD Card into the correct slot (See 4.0 COMPONENTS). 2. Press the POWER ON / OFF Button on the front of the unit to turn ON the ZXM-AC1. 3. Quick press the POWER ON / OFF Button four times on the front of the unit.

    ZXM-AC1 CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS POWER ON / OFF BUTTON The POWER ON / OFF Button is located at the front of the ZXM-AC1 in the bottom left corner. This is used to power the unit ON/OFF. The POWER ON / OFF Button is also used to switch between the camera modes, access the settings menu and also serves as the back Button (when you are in the navigation settings).

    SETTING THE DATE & TIME To set the correct date and time on your ZXM-AC1, turn the unit on and follow the steps below: 1. Press the SHOOT / RECORD Button to end recording if you are in video mode and recording.

    AUTO POWER OFF The auto power OFF function is designed to help extend the battery life of the ZXM-AC1. It will automatically power OFF after a selected period of inactivity (3, 5 or 10 minutes). To choose which option the unit will power off (3, 5 or 10 minutes), follow the steps below: 1.

    Follow the steps for all four auto power off options. SOUND You have the ability to adjust the Sound settings in the ZXM-AC1. Sounds will come from the unit with record audio and beep sound. The ZXM-AC1 default settings for sound are: •...

    LCD display to turn OFF while the ZXM-AC1 continues to record. There are four screen saver options to choose from. The ZXM-AC1 default setting is set to OFF. To either activate or change this setting, follow the below steps: 1.

    SHOOT / RECORD Button on the top of the unit to take a photo. You have the option of changing the image resolution through the ZXM-AC1. You can change between 12, 10, 8, 5, 3, 2, 1.3 Megapixels and VGA. The higher the number, the higher the resolution and the more detailed your photos will be, however they will take up more storage space.

    CAPTURE MODE Capture Mode allows you to adjust how many images your action camera takes in one ‘shot’ on the ZXM-AC1. You can change between OFF, 3 Pictures, 5 Pictures and 10 Pictures. The ZXM-AC1 default setting is set to OFF. To change this setting, follow the below steps: 1.

    5. To exit the navigation menu, press the POWER ON / OFF Button. DELAYED PHOTO You are able to use the Delayed Photo on the ZXM-AC1. You can change between OFF and ON. The ZXM-AC1 default setting is set to OFF.

    5. To exit the navigation menu, press the POWER ON / OFF Button. VIDEO SETTINGS VIDEO MODE When you turn on the ZXM-AC1, it will automatically default to Video Mode. A video icon in the top left corner of the screen will confirm it is in this mode.

    3. To exit the current video playback press the POWER ON / OFF Button once. DELETING FILES IN PLAYBACK MODE To delete any files that have been taken on the ZXM-AC1 or on the Micro SD Card, follow the below steps.

    SD card is full. If Loop Recording is set to OFF, the ZXM-AC1 will record continuously for up to 20 minutes, as a single file. To change either the loop recording interval or to turn OFF Loop Recording, follow the below steps: 1.

    6. To exit the navigation menu, press the POWER ON / OFF Button. Follow the above steps for all four loop recording options. NOTE: The factory default setting for loop recording is set to OFF. DATE STAMP The date and time is always displayed on your videos, and this is known as a Date Stamp.

    RESTORE DEFAULT SETTINGS Selecting this setting will restore the ZXM-AC1 to factory default. Any adjustments to the unit’s settings will now be erased. To restore to Factory Settings, follow the below steps: 1. Quick press the POWER ON / OFF Button on the front of the unit.

    10.0 FIRMWARE VERSION To check the current Firmware of your ZXM-AC1, follow the below steps: 1. Quick press the POWER ON / OFF Button on the front of the unit. This will bring up the navigation menu. 2. Quick press the POWER ON / OFF Button again in the navigation menu to navigate to the settings menu.

    11.0 WARRANTY WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

In the event of any loss, damage or injury, you will not look to Zero-X to compensate you or anyone else. You release and waive for yourself and your insurer all subrogation and other rights to recover against Zero-X arising as a result of the payment of any claim for loss, damage or injury.
