Operation (manual mode)
- If you touch the run-on control 
again, the fan will remain switched on
( will go out).

Switching the fan off

 Touching the control for the active
power level again switches the fan
off.
The deflector plate remains extended.
Run-on in Plug&Play operation
If you switch off the fan in Plug&Play
mode, it will run on at level 1.
Run-on ensures that the plinth is
ventilated after cooking.
Depending on the last active fan level,
run-on lasts between 2 and 30 minutes.
You can switch off the fan immediately
during run-on by pressing 1 or the On/
Off sensor .
This function is independent of the run-
on function .

Switching on and dimming the
cooktop lighting
The cooktop lighting can be switched
on and off and dimmed independently
of the fan.
 With the deflector plate retracted,
touch the On/Off sensor .
All symbols light up with reduced
brightness.
 Touch the lighting control  briefly.
The deflector plate extends.
The lighting will switch on at maximum
brightness. All 3 bars next to the
lighting control  light up.
 To change the brightness, press and
hold the lighting control  with the
lighting switched on. The brightness
will gradually dim until you release the
control.
 To increase the brightness, press and
hold the lighting control  again until
the desired level has been reached
and then release it.
 Alternatively, you can select 3
brightness levels by touching the bars
next to the lighting control .
Switching the cooktop lighting
off
 Touching the lighting control  again
switches the cooktop lighting off.
The deflector plate remains extended.
