    Internet Alarm Communicator Installation Manual General Information OMMUNICATOR ECHNICAL PECIFICATIONS ENERAL NFORMATION All versions of the Internet Alarm Communicator are housed inside the Self Contained Wireless (SCW) 9055/9057. Each version of Alarm Communicators covered by this Installation Manual are described below: TL255: Is an Internet Alarm Communicator that sends alarm communication to Sur-Gard System I, II, III, and IV central station receivers through an Ethernet connection.

    Software Compatibility Internet Alarm Communicator Installation Manual OFTWARE OMPATIBILITY The Communicator is compatible with the following software: • DLS 5. OMMUNICATOR NSTALLATION ONFIGURATION Before leaving the installation site, the Communicator TL255 shall be connected via an APPROVED (acceptable to the local authorities) Network Interface Device (NID) (e.g., for UL Installations, U60950 listed NID).

    Internet Alarm Communicator Installation Manual Communicator Reset OMMUNICATOR ESET The Communicator can be reset by cycling the power on the SCW. SCW P STABLISHING A OMMUNICATION HANNEL WITH THE ANEL The Communicator interfaces to the SCW through a keyed 16 pin Ribbon cable. See Table 4 . The key prevents incorrect connection of the ribbon cable connector to the SCW and Communicator.
