Owner's Manual Professional Bill Counter With Value Counting RBC-EG450-CA Dual Currency – For use with RS International Canada Inc. Please read and retain these instructions.
In case of a water spill, stop operating the unit immediately. Switch the unit off, disconnect the power cord and contact Royal Sovereign Customer Service for assistance Plug the power cord into a grounded outlet only. If the unit is not in use for a long period of time, please keep unit switched off and unplugged.
QUICK START GUIDE Plug the power cable into the back of the unit (10) and the other end into an electrical outlet. Connect the external display cord to the RJ11 Port (8 ) Turn the power switch to the “ON” position (9). The machine will go through an automatic self-diagnostics test to ensure accurate bill counting.

FUNC BUTTON The unit is defaulted to count Canadian Currency with Counterfeit Detection ON. This is the default setting when turning the unit ON DEFAULT SETTING: Canada Currency - This is the default setting with Canadian counterfeit detection US Currency - Press the FUNC once to set to US Currency. In US currency setting, the control panel will display USD.

BATCH/C BUTON: The machine is preset to common counting mode. To count bills in batches such as in quantities of 20, press “BATCH”. The word “BATCH” will appear on the control panel screen Batching is preset to 100 bills. When in BATCH/C mode, this button operates as a backspace. To change the batch amount, use the keypad to enter a batch number between 1 and 999 followed by pressing “RESET”...

VALUE BUTTON (Value Counting) This Royal Sovereign bill counter is equipped with Value Counting to provide a grand total of the denominations counted and total quantity counted. Value Counting works both in Canadian and US banknote denomination setting. Each denomination must be counted separately.

COUNTERFEIT DETECTION FUNCTION Canadian Setting, UV (Ultra-Violet), Infrared, and DD (Dimensional Detection) are used to detect counterfeit or suspect banknotes. In the event the bill counter discovers a counterfeit or suspect banknote it will stop and beep. The suspicious banknote will be positioned to the top of the banknote stacker. This banknote has not been counted.
If necessary, the glass surfaces of the detectors may be wiped with a soft cloth damped with alcohol. To get the best results out of your bill counter, Royal Sovereign recommends using Royal Sovereign Cleaning Cards (RBC-CLN) to remove dirt, dust, oils, and other contaminates from bill counters.
ERROR CODE DISPLAY AND SOLUTIONS The display may show some error codes when counting, which means there are some problems with the machine. Refer to the chart below to solve the errors.
