Output Capacity Kit
Disassembly:
1. Remove the Positioner from service. Turn the supply air off. Remove electrical power.
2. Disconnect pneumatic piping and electrical conduit.
3. Disconnect the actuator coupling, as needed.
4. Remove the hardware securing the Positioner to its mounting bracket. Move the Positioner to a clean location.
5. Loosen the four captive screws securing the enclosure cover. Lift the cover from the Positioner.
6. Model 760E only: Remove the I/P transducer. Refer to SD760 as needed. See Figure 1.

7. At the spool block (see Figures 2 and 3), carefully note how the spool clip is installed.
•
At the top of the block, the clip is inserted in the countersink in the end of the spool.
•
At the bottom of the block, the clip end is in the bronze bushing in the underside of the beam assembly.
8. Remove and discard the spool clip.
9. Remove and discard two 8-32 screws securing the valve block.
10. Remove and discard the spool block, spool, and gasket under the block.
