  • Page 5 Selection of installation location • When the air conditioner is installed in a small room, provide appropriate measures to ensure that the concentration of refrigerant leakage occur in the room does not exceed the critical level. • Do not install in a location where flammable gas leaks are possible. If the gas leak and accumulate around the unit, it may ignite and cause a fire.
  • Page 6 Test run • Before operating the air conditioner after having completed the work, check that the electrical control box cover of the air handling unit and service panel of the outdoor unit are closed, and set the circuit breaker to the ON position. You may receive an electric shock if the power is turned on without first conducting these checks.
  • Page 7  Selection of installation place Avoid installation in the following kinds of locations. • Dx-coil interface is recommended to be installed indoors. Install it in a location where there is no rain, wind, and direct sunlight. • Do not install in locations where there is a machine generating high frequency. Failure to do so may cause a wrong operation or an abnormality.
