INTRODUCTION

The pinpointer is intended for precisely locating metal objects. The device
should be used in conjunction with a large metal detector. The metal detector
can only roughly locate buried metal objects and you therefore often have to
dig a large hole to find the object. In addition, small metal objects are often
heavily oxidised and fused with the sediment, making them difficult to identify.
At this point, the pinpointer makes it easier for you to find treasures and metal
objects.
The pinpointer has a one-button design and does not need to be adjusted
during use. It is very easy to use and adapts to various environmental
conditions, not only in highly mineralised soil, but also in soil saturated
with salt water. The search area is often complex and many interferences
affect location accuracy. The pinpointer automatically compensates for
environmental interference with its location accuracy. If the environment
changes during use, or the pinpointer is affected by a magnetic field, and
if the sensitivity decreases due to the electromagnetic field, or if the unit
automatically deflects, you only need to press the balance button to rebalance
the detection sensitivity.
The pinpointer has two alarm signals: a vibration alarm and the flashing of
an LED light, indicating the presence of metal objects. When the tip of the
research stick approaches a metallic object, the unit will vibrate and the LED
light will illuminate in the following sequence: red, green blue and white. The
red light will come on first. The vibration intensity increases as the metal
object is approached. When the closest proximity is reached, the white light
will come on.
The white LED light at the tip of the pinpointer can help you find metal objects
in dark surroundings or under water.
The pinpointer is waterproof and works up to a water depth of 10 metres. A
9V alkaline battery is required to use the pinpointer. When the power is low,
the LED starts flashing, indicating that the battery needs to be changed.
The pinpointer is also very useful for DIY. You can use it to search for and
locate metal pipes, conduits, reinforced concrete and switch boxes in small
sections such as walls and ceilings. You can also use the pinpointer to search
for metal screws and drawing pins, as well as lost jewellery, etc.
