4 Installation

4.1 Mechanical installation

- Installing modules in network cable
- Stickers symbolize direction
®
- e-chain on stickers in the direction of the cable to be measured, screen on stickers
in the direction of the further transmission path (switch/consumer)
- Avoid heat build-up, provide sufficient ventilation
- Protect from moisture

4.2 Electrical installation

- Risk of electric shock
- Danger of electric arcs
- Injury driving
- Risk of component destruction
Always turn off the power supply before disconnecting or establishing electrical connections in the system. Secure the
power supply against re-activation.
After turning off, wait at least 5 minutes for the capacitors to discharge. Check the absence of voltage before working in
the system.
Occurrence of electric arcs in the case of electrical connections that are not properly installed. To i.Sense CF.D
connected cables must not have exposed and stripped wire ends. In addition, ensure that all connections are securely
seated.

4.2.1 Selection of power supply

Information on suitable power supply in technical data,connection via USB.

4.2.2 Plug assignment and sensor connection

The plug connections run according to the scheme as described below:
