Return Ducting General Guidelines
• Back returns are not allowed on any S-Series Modular blowers
• Side returns are not allowed on downflow or horizontal S-Series
Modular blowers
• Mounting flanges must be located on ducting
• Shoot screws through the mount flanges into the modular blower
cabinet
• Always seal per local codes and requirements
• Modular blower, coil, and ducting must be supported separately
• An external overflow drain pan must be installed in all applications
over a finished ceiling to prevent property damage
Upflow Modular Blower with Bottom Return in Closet with
Remote Filter
1. Remove the bottom plate.
2. Set the modular blower on the base inside closet.
3. Install remote filter.
4. Seal per local codes and requirements.
Upflow Modular Blower with Bottom Return in Closet with
Filter Box
1. Remove the bottom plate.
2. Set the modular blower on the filter box inside closet.
3. Must have grille present for air.
4. Seal per local codes and requirements.
