Chapter 3 - Troubleshooting

Cannot connect to the Internet over a wired connection.

• Make sure that your PLC devices are plugged in!
• Check that the status LEDs of your PLC devices are lit as below:
Power
Green LED is on
PLC
Green LED is on
• Make sure that your computer is configured to "obtain an IP address automatically from DHCP".
(See chapter 4)
• Restart your PLC devices.
If the PLC devices are reset, they are disconnected
from the network.
If the Power LED is flashing, use the procedure below to set the pairing.
1. Hold down the PLC button of the PLC device until the Power LED starts blinking (about 2
seconds).
2. Within 2 minutes, hold down the PLC button of the other PLC device until the Power LED
starts blinking (about 2 seconds).
3. Check that the Power LED changes to steady green after about 1 minute.
If the Power LED does not stop blinking, pairing has failed. Try performing the procedure again from
the beginning.
