HELPFUL HINTS - Problems / Solutions

If you are having problems with your HDTV, check this
trouble shooting chart to find one or more possible
solution.
Problem: Check these Conditions:

Check antenna / external

Maybe station trouble, NO signal

MUTE function may be turned ON.
Check if station is broadcasting a
Closed - Caption signal.
Select another channel.
Check if program is in color.
Check antenna / external

Color or Tint misadjusted.
Maybe station trouble.
Maybe the MUTE function is ON.
Check Audio / Video connections.
Check external equipment

Check external equipment setting.
Check antenna connection.
Press INFO key and check signal
strength.
Channel may be removed from

Try these Solutions:
• Adjust antenna.
• Try a different channel.
• Execute Channel Scan in
CHANNEL menu. (Set Signal Type
to All)
• Adjust Volume.
• Press CAPTION key to select
captioning mode.
• Press PIX SHAPE key on the
remote control to change setting.
• Try a different channel.
• Adjust antenna.
• Execute Reset Picture in PICTURE
menu.
• Adjust the Volume and/or Image.
• Press INPUT key on the remote
control.
• Turn antenna, install signal booster.
• Install outdoor Digital antenna.
• Selec Channel List to add channels
or start channel scan in CHANNEL
mode.
• Turn antenna, instal signal booster.
• Set Signal Source to Cable, Set
Signal Type to All and execute
Channel Scan to search for Cable
channels in CHANNEL menu.
• Replace batteries.
• Aim remote control at front of TV.
