General
 Please note!
Used in an environment where background
noise is very low, it may be possible to hear a
sound which is related to the operation of the
flame and heat effect. This is normal and
should not be a cause for concern.
Manual control (behind access door)
Button functions, see fig. 1.0:
A = main switch
1 = ON/OFF
2 = pairing
3 = only for maintenance (service engineer)
4 = reduce flame effect
5 = increase flame effect
6 = reduce fire crackling sound
7 = increase fire crackling sound
 Please note!
Main switch 'A' controls the electricity supply
to the fire. To operate the fire the switch must
be in the "ON" (I) position.
First time water fill
Ensure that all valves are open and turn
on the water supply.
Ensure that the mains switch is in the ON
(I) position.
Switching ON the fire

Although the main lights operate immediately it
will take a further 15 seconds before the flame ef-
fect starts.
Switching OFF the fire (standby mode)
Press the
button to put the fire into standby
mode.
Remote control
Button functions, see fig. 1.1:
1 = OFF
2 = ON
3 = Reduce flame
4 = Increase flame
5 = Heating On/Off
6 = Mood setting On/Off
The remote control is already connected with the
receiver, so the fire is ready for use.
Placing batteries in the remote control
Unscrew the battery cover on the back
(fig. 1.3);
Place 2 AA 1.5 Volt Alkaline long life bat-
teries;

Switching on the fire
Press the

Wall holder for the remote control
For a proper working of the thermostat function, it
is necessary to hang the remote control in the
holder (see fig. 1.4) in a suitable place. The remote
control is also the room temperature sensor. Place
the holder at a height of approximately 1,5m and
away from the radiation area of the fireplace.
Avoid placement in corners, near windows, doors
and heat sources such as central heating radiators.
Fix the battery cover again.
Turn the main switch in the "ON" (I) posi-
tion;
Press the

Simultaneously press button

the LED starts flashing blue continuously
and then release the buttons. When a
connection is established, the LED will
flash green.
