Failure to follow all the instructions below
can result in the risk of electric shock, fire
and/or serious personal injury.

Keep the work area clean and well lit.
Dark and cluttered work areas increase
the risk of accidents and injuries.

Take suitable measures to avoid personal
injury and/or material damage.
•
Maintain and take good care of the
product. Keep the product clean. Do not
use the product if it is damaged.
A damaged product must not be
used before it has been repaired.
•
Service work should be carried out only by
qualified service personnel. There is a risk of
personal injury if unqualified persons carry
out service or maintenance on the tool.
•
All the markings on the product must be
intact and legible. These markings contain
important safety information. Contact the
retailer if you need to replace the
markings.
•
Wear ANSI approved safety glasses and
heavy-duty safety gloves.
•
Persons with pacemakers should contact
their doctor before using the product.
Electromagnetic fields can influence the
functionality of pacemakers, or cause
malfunctioning.
•
Observe care in the vicinity of the
electrical system on the vehicle when the
engine is running. The engine should be
switched off when working on the
distributor.
•
Connect the product as shown in the
instructions to avoid sparking. Sparks can
ignite the explosive gas produced during
battery charging and/or damage the
electrical system on the vehicle.
•
Make sure to connect the test leads to
the battery with the correct polarity.
The red lead (1) should be connected to
the positive terminal (+) on the battery.
The black lead (2) should be connected to
the negative terminal (-) on the battery.
The instrument will be damaged if it is
connected with the wrong polarity.
•
Make sure that the metal casing on the
product does not come into contact with
the battery terminals or other electrical
connections.
•
Do not subject the product to knocks and
blows, this can damage the product.
•
Keep sparks or naked flames away from
the battery, and do not smoke near the
battery.
•
Do not connect the product while the
battery is being charged. Switch off the
engine before connecting the product.
•
Do not touch the ventilation openings on
the product during or immediately after
use – risk of burn injury.
•
A defective product should be discarded.
No parts of the product can be replaced.

USE
BATTERY TEST
1.
Clean the battery terminals with a cloth
before testing to ensure good contact.
2.
Connect the red plus lead (1) to the
positive terminal (+) on the battery.
3.
Connect the black negative lead (2) to the
negative terminal (-) on the battery. Rock
the clips a little to ensure good contact.
4.
Press the SET CCA (5) button to set a
125 A
