Possible Malfunctions

The table below contains descriptions of possible causes and solutions to
malfunctions or errors during operation of the appliance. When malfunction cannot
be removed, contact the technical service.
In such a case, provide article number, model name and serial number. These data
may be found in the rating plate.
Error

power supply, but it

Possible Cause
Incorrectly connected plug
Lid is not inserted on the
mixing beaker or is
inserted incorrectly
ON/OFF switch has not
been operated
Thermal/overload switch
tripped due to the too long
an operation / overload.
Solution
Remove the plug and insert it
properly into a socket
Place the lid correctly on the
beaker in order to assure
contact between the magnet
in the lid and the proximity
sensor on the tube
Switch the appliance on with
the ON/OFF switch.
Pull the plug out
Wait for the appliance to cool
down
Press the RESET button at
the bottom of the appliance
(read the section
"Overload/Overheating
Protection")
If the malfunction persists,
contact the service company
