REAR-FACING INSTALLATION – Vehicle Seat Recline This is an easy issue to resolve by following the steps below: 1 Uninstall your KNOX 2 Place a folded hand towel under the KNOX against the seat bight (crease of seat). You may need to adjust number of folds to achieve the proper recline.
REAR-FACING INSTALLATION – Lap/Shoulder Belt Use Route vehicle lap/shoulder belt through the belt path and buckle. SECURING THE CHILD Loosen and unbuckle harness. Place child in Child Restraint making sure their body is making full contact with the seating surface. Adjust Active Response Headrest so that it is positioned just above the child's shoulders providing a fingertip of space at most. NOTE: It is ok for headrest to touch child's shoulders.

SECURING THE CHILD Remove the Fit Inlay at 11.3 kg (25 lbs) or when the child begins growing on top of the buckle making it difficult to buckle the harness. The Fit Inlay has a two-piece construction. If the child is less than 11.3 kg (25 lbs), first remove the Fit Inlay Back Cushion and readdress the harness fit.
FABRIC CARE – Removing Seat Pad Raise headrest to highest position. Unfasten back panel fabric. Remove crotch buckle cover. Fully unzip seat base fabric. Unsnap seat base fabric. Pull fabric out from around Harness Adjuster Housing and remove from seat.
FABRIC CARE – Removing Headrest Fabric Raise headrest to highest position. Unfasten headrest from seat. Unhook elastic from lower portion of headrest. Pull headrest fabric from spine structure and remove from seat. NOTE: DO NOT remove foam ears from seat. These cannot be cleaned.
FABRIC CARE – Removing Seat Fabric Unclip Tether from back of seat Pull plastic tabs around top of seat and pull to remove around plastic Headrest Adjuster Handle and feed tether through hole in top of seat to remove. Pull body fabric from channel along side of seat.
FABRIC CARE – Installing Seat Fabric Place seat fabric over seat and feed tether through hole in top of seat fabric. Attach plastic tabs to seat. Attach tether to anchor located at back of seat. Moving from the top down, press fabric into channel along side of seat.
