A. Loosely place
both chains on top
and bottom sprockets,
insert bushing on bolt
that holds the central
double sprocket.
5.02 - Front Cultipacker Replacement
To remove the front cultipacker proceed as follows:
1. Securely support the implement.
2. Remove the side transmission
3. Remove the four bolts on the right side panel and the four bolts on the left side panel
that hold the front cultipacker supports.
4. Slide the cultipacker out.
It is suggested that the following spare parts be kept on hand at all times to prevent a
minor problem from delaying work:

Rear cultipacker rings
Seed cups
Chains

B. Place chains on central
double sprocket and then
assemble to the bolt,
ensure sprockets are
aligned then tighten roller
sprocket set screws.
