2. Use
2.1. First use
On page 8 you can find the components of the Elexo . These components are the applied
parts of the Elexo . These components may come into contact with the user(s) while the
Elexo is in use .
2.2. Activating
The Elexo must be activated before use, which can be done by pressing any button on
the hand control for 2 seconds (See figure 1).
It may occur that the Elexo goes into sleep mode after a period of time . To deactivate
the sleep mode, press any button on the hand control for 2 seconds .
Activate the Elexo by pressing any button for 2 seconds.
2.3. Working with the Elexo
Step 1
Disconnect the Elexo from the charger if necessary .
Step 2
Activate the Elexo (See paragraph 2.2. Activating) .
Step 3
Fold the armrests up or turn the front closure downwards (See paragraph 3.3. Armrests
with front closure).
Step 4
If necessary, fold the foot plates up or turn the footrests on the Elexo away (See
paragraph 3.2. Footrests) .
Step 5
The Elexo must be put on the brakes before transferring persons (See paragraph 3.1.
Wheel blocking).
Step 6
The client can take a seat in the chair . Support the client if necessary .
