1 Introduction

2 For your safety

Read this important information carefully before you use the appliance and save it for future reference.
General Warning
- DO NOT use carbonating bottles from other brands. This can damage the machine and lead to safety risk.
- DO NOT carbonate anything other than plain water. If the water contains sugar or other compounds the
valves could malfunction and it could be dangerous to use the product.
- DO NOT add fruit slices, ice and flavour in the carbonating bottle. Add flavour only AFTER carbonation.
- DO NOT carbonate into an empty carbonating bottle.
- DO NOT move the Sparkling water maker when it is carbonating.
- DO NOT carbonate for over 5 seconds.
- Always use your Sparkling water maker in an upright position.
- Always keep the Sparkling water maker away from any source of heat or direct sunlight. Use it in the
room temperature.
- Keep the Sparkling water maker away from children. It is not recommended to be used by children under
12 years old without adult supervision.
Carbonating bottle
- Fill the bottle with clean and cold water only up to the fill line.
- NEVER wash the plastic bottle in dishwashers. DO NOT wash it in hot water exceeding 40℃.
- DO NOT use other bottles not specifically designed for Philips Sparkling water maker. Your Philips
Sparkling water maker is designed to use only with the Philips carbonating bottle. The use of other bottles
is not recommended. Damages resulting from the use of a bottle other than a Philips carbonating bottle
are not covered by the warranty.
- Philips bottles are clearly marked with an expiration date. Do not use the carbonating bottle after the
expiry date.
- Never use a bottle that has been deformed, discolored or scratched. Before each use, check the
expiration date on the bottle, and check for damage and deformation. Replace expired, damaged or
deformed carbonating bottles with new ones.
- Never put the bottle in the freezer.
- Always keep the bottle clean with the cap on to avoid bacteria and bad smell.
