    NGT-200 USER MANUAL PURPOSE NGT-200 NSR GMDSS Tester (Marine Radio Test Set) is intended to carry out the operation, maintenance and servicing tests of MF/HF/VHF Radios with DSC and NAVTEX receivers in accordance with IMO A.948 (23) or A.997(25), A.1020(26) resolutions.

Tester allows to carry out measurements through broadcast by means of antenna and conductive measurements provided with help of external attenuator (supplied optionally).

If the AIS station has reception indicator (usually it is RX Led), after the sound was terminated this LED should confirm the reception of the request.

  • Page 33 NGT-200 USER MANUAL Note that here can be displayed not only zero meaning. The tester automatically offers to use the MMSI code encoded from the last received message. So, if the MMSI code of AIS Station is unknown or you’d like to avoid the manual input of the code use AIS MONITOR mode and receive at least 1 message from the AIS Station to be tested.

The tester will allow to save the date only when all information is received.
