    5.1 & 7.1 Surround Sound Speaker Setup Speaker placement is the most important part of any Home Theater setup. The proper placement will optimize surround sound and performance of your Fluance speaker system.     Setting up a home theater system requires proper wiring and wire manage- ment. Depending on the system you set up, the size of the wires and the prop- er type of wiring you need may vary. Fluance recommends 18 gauge or better wire for optimal sound quality.

    Bi-Amp Connection Bi-amping Bi-amping involves the use of two separate amplifier channels per speaker, one to connect to each pair of binding posts. It is only possible when speakers have two or more sets of binding posts. Benefits include: transients are less likely to cause amplifier overload (clipping) and/or speaker damage, reduced distortion, and better matching of the power amplifier to speaker drivers.
