Safety
We recommend removing the lens before shipping the system long distance with an
●
outside carrier (i.e., not in your own vehicle). See the packing section for more
information.
For proper ventilation, always extend and lock the top frame in place before
●
operating the projector.
Be careful lifting the system due to its weight. We recommend using two people
●
when lifting the loaded transit case.
Always lift the system by its frame, not by any of the individual components.
●
To avoid overheating, make sure vents are not blocked and the air filter is kept
●
clean.
Always use the Digitarium system with a surge suppressor to avoid damage caused
●
by power surges, which is not covered by your warranty.
Do not stare into the lens while the projector is projecting as the light is very bright.
●
Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.
●
Change the lamp at the end of its recommended life, or catastrophic failure can
●
result. The DLP projector tracks how many hours the lamp has been used. See the
DLP projector manual for instructions on checking lamp usage.
Security
The fisheye lens in your system is one of the most expensive components. Please note
that the lens is removable and could be a target of theft. Plan accordingly.
