Reserve a LAN IP address

To reserve an IP address:
1. Launch a web browser from a computer or mobile device that is connected to your
Orbi network.
2. Enter orbilogin.com.
A login window displays.
If your browser does not display a login window but displays a security warning and
does not let you proceed, see What to do if you get a browser security warning on
page 33.
3. Enter the admin user name and password.
The user name is admin. The password is the one that you set the first time that you
logged in. The user name and password are case-sensitive.
The BASIC Home page displays.
4. Select ADVANCED > Setup > LAN Setup.
5. Select the LAN tab for the LAN for which you want to reserve an IP address: LAN 1,
LAN 2, LAN 3, LAN 4, or LAN 5.
The LAN Setup page displays.
6. In the Address Reservation section of the page, click the Add button.
The LAN Address Reservation page displays. Any detected devices display in the
Address Reservation Table.
7. To reserve an IP address for a detected device, select the radio button in the Address
Reservation Table.
8. To manually reserve an IP address for a device that is not connected or detected,
do the following:
a. In the IP Address field, type the IP address to assign to the device.
b. In the MAC Address field, type or copy the MAC address of the device.
c. In the Device Name field, type a name.
9. Click the Apply button.
The reserved address is entered into the table.
The reserved address is not assigned until the next time the computer contacts the
router's DHCP server. Reboot the computer, or access its IP configuration and force
a DHCP release and renew.
