2.6 REFRIGERANT CONNECTIONS

To connect the refrigerant lines, proceed as follows ("fig. 18 -"):
• Match the ends of the previously flared pipe with those of the connections on the indoor units
• Screw the union by hand and then tighten it with a suitable wrench (to avoid tension on the pipes it is advisable to also use a second
wrench).

Note: in combination with 18000 indoor units, use the pipe adapter kit "fig. 19 -" – "fig. 20 -".
These kits are provided with outdoor units and must be connected to the faucet on the outdoor unit. Complete the operation by con-
necting the ½" pipe needed to connect to the indoor unit.

2.7 INDOOR UNIT CONDENSATION DRAIN CONNECTION

Indoor units are provided as standard with the drain hose connection in position A ("fig. 21 -").If necessary, it is possible to move the
connection position to the opposite site.In order to do this, remove the plug from the initial position B ("fig. 21 -") and move it to position
A ("fig. 21 -").
While making the fittings ("fig. 22 -") for the condensation drain remember that:
• The diameter of the condensation drain hose must be equal to or higher than the one of the fitting pipe.
• Seal the joints and wrap them with insulating material to avoid the formation of condensation on the hose external surfaces.
• Keep the condensation drain hose short and with a downward inclination of at least 1/100.
• Do not bend the condensation drain hose.
• After connecting the hose, check that the condensation water can easily flow.
• To check drainage, pour water in the condensation drain tray ("fig. 23 -").
