Direct Transmission

If your machine's memory is full or you wish to send the document(s) immediately, use Direct Transmission.

Manual Number Dialling (Direct Transmission)

To dial the telephone number manually, follow the steps below.
Make sure that the FAX lamp is ON. If not, press

Place original(s) face up on the ADF.

Place a book or an original face down on the Platen
Glass.

XMT MODE
Make sure that "DIRECT XMT" is displayed, if
"MEMORY XMT" appears, press
change to Direct Transmission.

Enter a telephone number from the keypad or
select a station from the Phone Book.
Ex:
48
or
5 5 5 1 2 3 4
to select the "FAX MODE".
