Note: During operation, when the brake handle is released, the engine will stop, thereby stopping mower operation. WARNING:To prevent any inadvertent starting of the mower, the mower is equipped with an engine brake which must be removed before the engine can be started. When the engine control lever is released, it should return to its home position, at which point the engine automatically shuts off.

WARNING:If you hit a foreign object, stop the engine. Remove the spark plug wire, thoroughly inspect the mower for any damage, and repair the damage before restarting and operating.
8. MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS SPARK PLUG Use only an original replacement spark plug. For best results, replace the spark plug every 100 hours of use. BRAKE PADS Check and/or replace engine brake pads at service agent regularly, only original parts can be used as replacement.
For best results, the blade must be sharp. The blade can be resharpened by removing it and grinding or filing the cutting edge keeping it as close to the original bevel as possible. It is extremely important that each cutting edge receives an equal amount of grinding to avoid an unbalanced blade. Improper blade balance will cause excessive vibration which will cause engine and mower damage.
CAUTION!Do not drain gasoline in closed spaces, near a fireplace, etc. Do not smoke! Gasoline vapors can cause explosion or fire. B) Start the engine and let it run until all the gasoline has been used up. C) Remove the spark plug. Use an oil container to fill approx. 20 ml of oil in the combustion chamber. Run the starter motor to evenly distribute the oil in the combustion chamber.
