Installation and regulation of power tool
elements
Before carrying out any works on the power tool it
must be disconnected from the mains.
Do not draw up the fastening elements
too tight to avoid damaging the thread
Mounting / dismounting / setting-up of
some elements is the same for all power
tool models, in this case specific models
are not indicated in the illustration
Mounting / dismounting parallel guide (see fig. 1)
Fig 1 shows parallel guide 21 mounting / dismounting
operations
Replacement of the saw blade (see fig. 2-3)
After prolonged operation, the saw blade
can become very hot, remove it using
gloves. This will also reduce the risk of
injury by the cutting edge.
• Mount power tool on the side end of the motor as
shown in fig. 2.
• Press down spindle lock 7 and rotate saw blade 3
manually in order to lock it in a fixed position. While
pressing down spindle lock 7, unscrew bolt 4 with the
help of wrench 22
• Use lever 11 to turn sliding guard cover 12 clockwise
against the stop
• Remove from spindle 24: external flange 5, saw
blade 3, internal flange 23
• Clean all fixing elements with a soft brush and mount
on the spindle 24: internal flange 23, saw blade 3, ex-
ternal flange 5, screw in bolt 4 manually
Attention! observe the following rules during
installation:
• follow the mounting sequence (see fig. 3);
• avoid bending during mounting;
• before mounting saw blade 3, make sure that the
mounting opening diameter fits the diameter of the
projected parts of internal flange 23;
• arrow direction marked on saw blade 3 should co-
incide with arrow direction on guard cover 2;
• mount external flange 5 with bevel edge outwards
• Put sliding guard cover 12 to its initial position
• Press and hold spindle lock 7 and tighten bolt 4 with
wrench 22 Release spindle lock 7
Regulation of body vertical position (see fig. 4, 7)
[CT15210]
• Loosen fixing screws 10 (see fig. 7).
• Put the body vertically
• Tighten fixing screws 10
• Use lever 11 to turn sliding guard cover 12 clockwise
against the stop
• Place the sides of an alignment setsquare 90° to
the surface of saw blade 3 and base plate 13 (see
fig. 4). If the setsquare sides join the surfaces of saw
blade 3 and base plate 13, tightly, then alignment is not
needed, otherwise you have to adjust the position by
screw 25 and lock-nut 26
• Loosen fixing screws 10
• Loosen lock-nut 26
• Turning the screw 25 in or out, make the sides of
the 90° setsquare join the surfaces of saw blade 3 and
base plate 13 tightly
• Holding screw 25, tighten lock-nut 26
Initial operation of the power tools
Always use the correct supply voltage: the power
supply voltage must match the information quoted on
the power tool identification plate.
Switching the power tool on / off
Switching on:
In order to switch on the power tool, push lock-off
button 18 and while holding it in position, push on /
off switch 6
Switching off:
In order to switch off the power tool, release on / off
switch 6
Dust suction during the power tool
operation
Dust suction allows reducing dust concentration
in the air and prevents its accumulation at the
workplace While operating the power tool,
always use a vacuum cleaner suitable for
collecting process-generated dust
