3M MP8610 Quick Start Manual

INTENDED USE

Before installing the ceiling mount, please read the entire manual thoroughly. The 3M™ Ceiling Mount
(MP8610/MP8620) was designed, built and tested for use with the 3M MP8610 or MP8620, while mounted
to a stable ceiling structure. The use of this ceiling mount with other projectors or while mounted to a
ceiling structure not capable of supporting 35 kg (77 lbs.) has not been tested and could damage the
projector and/or create a potentially unsafe operating condition.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

1. Read and understand all instruction before using. Pay particular attention to areas where this
symbol is shown.

2. Ceiling Structure must support at least 35 kg (77 lbs.), or it must be reinforced according to

commercial standards. False ceiling may not be suitable to support projector weight.

3. Always locate the ceiling mount in an area that will not cause accidental collisions and possible injury
to people or the projector

4. Position all cords and cables so that they will not be tripped over, pulled, or contact hot surfaces.
5. If an extension cord is necessary, the cord should have a current rating at least equal to that of the
appliance. Cords rated for less amperage than the appliance may overheat.
6. Keep all ventilation openings free of any obstructions.
7. Environment temperature should not exceed 35
8. The ceiling mount is designed to hold the MP8610 or MP8620 projector. Do not place other
equipment on the ceiling mount shelf or on top of the MP8610 or MP8620 projectors.
