Question/problem - cause
Cause
The engine does not start:
• Throttle handle is not being pressed;
• The tank is out of fuel;
Fuel line clogged;
The fuel tap is closed;
• The fuel in the tank is of poor quality, is dirty or is
already old;
• Spark plug cap is removed from the spark plug;
• Spark plug has soot or is damaged;
Improper gap between electrodes;
• The air filter is dirty;
• The combustion engine is " wet " due to various
attempts to start it;
• Combustion engine oil level too low;
Difficult start-up or combustion engine power
decreases:
• Presence of water in the fuel tank;
The carburetor is clogged;
• The fuel tank is dirty;
• The air filter is dirty;
• The spark plug is sooty;
The engine runs irregularly:
• The air filter is dirty;
The combustion engine overheats:
• Ventilation slots are dirty;
• Combustion engine oil level too low;
• The surface of the combustion engine is covered
by dirt;
The tiller blows too much smoke:
• The oil level is too high;
• The air filter is dirty;
Strong vibration while operating:
• Loose engine housing;
Low performance:
• The tines are incorrectly assembled;
• The tines are worn;
• Depth gauge is incorrectly set;
The tines do not rotate:
• Tines are not fixed to the drive shaft;

Solution
• Press the throttle handle;
• Refuel;
Clean fuel lines and open the tap;
Open the fuel tap;
• Use new fuel (petrol),
Clean carburetor;
• Fit the spark plug cap into the spark plug;
• Clean/replace the spark plug;
Adjust the gap between electrodes;
• Clean/ replace air filter;
• Unscrew the spark plug and dry it, push the throttle
hand and pull the starter handle several times with
the spark plug unscrewed;
• Refuel with engine oil;
• Empty the fuel tank;
Clean fuel lines;
• Clean the fuel tank;
• Clean/ replace air filter;
• Clean/replace the spark plug;
• Clean/ replace air filter;
• Clean the ventilation slots;
• Refuel with engine oil;
• Remove dirt from the combustion engine;
• Adjust oil volume;
• Clean/ replace air filter;
• Screw the engine fixing screws;
• Assemble the tines incorrectly;
• Replace tines;
• Adjust depth gauge;
• Check the tines' fixing to the drive shaft;
