    1�2 Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise Signalwort Arbeitsumgebung Bedienen Sie die Elektrowerkzeuge nicht in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen, wie zum Beispiel in der Ge- genwart von entflammbaren Flüssigkeiten, Gasen oder Staub. Elektrowerkzeuge erzeugen Funken, die Staub oder Dämpfe entzünden können. Betreiben Sie Ihr Werkzeug ausschließlich in Innenräumen und auf einem stabilen, waagerechten Tisch oder einer Werkbank.
  • Page 7 Signalwort Spezielle physische Einwirkung Die Verwendung von Flüssigkeiten auf der Maschine, wie beispielsweise durch den Einsatz von Kühlmittel- HINWEIS pumpen, ist verboten, da hierdurch die Elektronik beschädigt werden kann. Die Verwendung von Minimalmengenschmierungen ist erlaubt, sollte aber in Form einer Tröpfchenschmie- HINWEIS rung erfolgen.
  • Page 8 Signalwort Elektrische Gefährdungen Der Not-Aus-Schalter kann nur dann zu einem Stillstand aller Komponenten führen, wenn der Schalter und alle Komponenten korrekt mit der Not-Aus-Funktion der Hauptplatine verbunden sind. Bevor Sie die Maschine verwenden, prüfen Sie die Funktion des Not-Aus-Schalters. Sie müssen sicher sein, dass dieser im Notfall die Maschine stoppen kann! Verbinden Sie das Netzteil der Fräsmaschine erst mit der Fräsmaschine und dann mit dem Stromnetz.

    1�4 Anforderungen an den Anwender Dieses Produkt ist für fortgeschrittene Anwender konzipiert, die das 14. Lebensjahr vollendet haben und die über Vor- kenntnisse in der Bedienung von Werkzeugen, wie zum Beispiel Bohr- und Fräsmaschinen und computergesteuerten Werkzeuge, wie CNC-Fräsmaschinen oder 3D-Druckern verfügen. Es muss mit Vorsicht bedient werden und erfordert grundlegende mechanische Fähigkeiten.

    2 Beschreibung 2�1 Maschine Die STEPCRAFT D-Serie ist ein multifunktionales CNC-System für die dauerhafte und regelmäßige Bearbeitung von Holz, Kunststoff und NE-Metallen. Die Konstruktion basiert auf speziell von STEPCRAFT entwickelten Hohlkammer-Aluminium- Strangpressprofilen, die eine Vielzahl von Funktionen, wie beispielsweise Schleppkettenführung und Staubschutz, be- inhalten.

    Der Arbeitsplatz sollte den geltenden Vorgaben und Bestimmungen der jeweiligen Branche entsprechen. 2�3 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung Die STEPCRAFT D-Serie ist für die dauerhafte und regelmäßige Nutzung im privaten sowie im gewerblichen Kleinse- rien-Bereich konzipiert. Für Großserienfertigung und Einbindung in Produktionsstraßen ist sie nicht geeignet. Der ver- windungssteife Aufbau erlaubt die Bearbeitung einer Vielzahl von Materialien, wie beispielsweise Holz, Kunststoff und NE-Metall.

    Im Falle eines Not-Halts werden alle Achsen stromlos gesetzt und können nicht mehr bewegt werden. Der Not-Aus-Zu- stand muss erst aufgehoben werden, um die Achsen bewegen zu können. 6�2 Maschinentisch Der austauschbare Maschinentisch der STEPCRAFT D-Serie kann den verschiedensten Projekten und Anforderungen individuell angepasst werden.     9�2 Empfohlene Wartungsarbeiten Die STEPCRAFT D-Serie sollte in regelmäßigen Abständen gewartet werden. Die Häufigkeit richtet sich nach Ihrer indi- viduellen Nutzung. Damit Sie lange Freude an Ihrem CNC-System haben, behandeln Sie es bitte sorgfältig. Regelmäßige Pflege beeinflusst entscheidend die Lebensdauer Ihrer Maschine. Befreien Sie das CNC-System regelmäßig von Spänen und anderen Fertigungsresten.

Power tools create sparks which may ignite dust or fumes. Operate the power tool only in interior spaces on a solid, horizontal table or workbench. Otherwise there is a chance of the product falling.

    The construction is based on hollow chamber aluminum extrusion profiles specif- ically designed by STEPCRAFT which have a variety of functions such as drag chain guidance and dust protection. Due to their special design, the hollow chamber extrusions ensure a precise guidance, high stability and tensional stiffness.

    6�2�1 HPL Machine Table The HPL machine table with aluminum T-slots consists of a single HPL panel with 8 mm thickness and is stabilized by crossbars. Various materials can be fixed on the table by use of the supplied clamping bars. It is easy to clean and offers a resistant surface.

    To continue using the tool in unmaintained condition will permanently damage your tool. Preventive maintenance performed by unauthorized persons can result in serious hazardous situations. We recommend having all maintenance work performed by a STEPCRAFT service facility. 9�1 General Maintenance Prior to commissioning the CNC gantry milling system, it has to be ensured that the machine is in a technically perfect and well-maintained condition.

    9�2 Recommended Maintenance Work The STEPCRAFT D-Series should be serviced at regular intervals. The frequency depends on your individual use. To ensure that you enjoy your CNC system for a long time, please treat it with care. Regular maintenance has a decisive influence on the service life of your machine.

    9�2�3 Y-Axis Move the Y-axis all the way to the front. To access the Y-axis lead screws (4), remove the outer, upper screw from the front and rear panel each. Now you can swing down the linear cover. Use a cloth to remove any dirt from the Y-thread spindle (4).
